My name is Jackie Smoskowitz and I am currently completing my masters in social work. I have my personal training certification through CanFit Pro and have experience working with individual clients as well as children in group settings. I am very excited to use my fitness background as well as my social work skills while working for FitGirls in order to promote living an active and healthy lifestyle. 


I believe that FirGirls embodies everything I believe in as a trainer, athlete and individual. I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with children and exemplify a role model figure for them. Living a healthy lifestyle involves more than working out and eating healthy. I believe that in order to live a healthy lifestyle one must have a healthy mindset. The FitGirls environment is the perfect setting for children to not only accomplish their fitness goals but also allows them to create and understand the meaning of self worth and self esteem. I hope to be able to help these children through their journeys while creating a fun and safe environment to do so.

I’m Megan & you can find me at Fit Girls in Milton.I’m a wife, Pug Mama, coffee addict, fitness enthusiast, and lover of all things Pink.I was educated and formerly employed as a Kindergarten teacher in the states but following a move to Canada for my husband’s job, found a passion for health & fitness. Not too long ago, I was carrying 35 lbs extra on my 5-2 frame and ALWAYS chose the elevator over stairs.Finding my own “healthy” inspired me to become certified as a personal trainer & boot camp instructor (Can Fit Pro, 2012) and more recently added Certified Holistic Nutritionist (NutraPhoria, 2017) to my resume. My interests in the fitness community range from group classes to traditional body building to, most recently, CrossFit! Moving and eating to FEEL GOOD has become a huge part of my life and household. My personal philosophy on fitness allows for both cucumbers AND cupcakes- and moving with intention most days of the week, to live a happy & balanced life.Outside of the gym, my interests include- traveling with my husband as much & often as possible, volunteering with breast cancer awareness organizations (my Mom is an 11 year survivor!) and the Milton District Hospital, and helping various Pug Rescues as much as possible. We have a rescue pug, Lucy Belle, who is a spoiled member of the family. We cheer hard on Sundays for the Dallas Cowboys.I’m thrilled to be working with Fit Girls, as it combines 2 huge loves I have: Teaching and fitness. To paraphrase... Here’s to Fit Girls- may we know them, may we be them, may we raise them. Cheers!




Ariel has been a fitness instructor since she was in high school, and fell in love with inspiring others to enjoy working out. Almost ten years later, bringing the joy of an active lifestyle is still Ariel's top priority. By day, she is the Assistant Director of Adventure Valley Day Camp (yes, it's a year-round job!), where her favourite part of the day is leading a mega-dance party for all 400 campers and 130 staff, aged 4 - adults. Ariel is so excited to join the FitGirls team, and can't wait to see the smiling faces of her participants. Ashlee is a certified fitness instructor and personal trainer, and has additional certificates in Active Aging and Child Fitness. She has an undergraduate degree in Microbiology from Queen's University, and a Master's of Science in Global Health from McMaster.

Chief Inspirational Officer


I have been passionate about fitness and nutrition all of my adult life.  Through my dedication to a strong, healthy and fit lifestyle I realized how important it is to pass this on to my own children.
In effort to facilitate young girls to realize their health and wellness potential and to encourage them to live a fit and healthy lifestyle, I created FitGirls.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology. I also hold the following fitness certifications; Personal Trainer, Youth Fitness Trainer, Healthy Eating and Weight Loss Coach, Precision Nutrition Level 1, Sargent Ken Boot Camp and Older Adult Trainer.  I am a fitness enthusiast that has completed several marathons and half marathons.

Fitness has always been a part of my life. I remember in grade 2 being a part of an "aerobics committee" and having to present to an audience at a local mall! I felt very important at that time! If there is one thing I have learned over the years is that, essentially, fitness builds confidence.


I have worked in the industry for over 10 years now. I started my career after graduating from George Brown College, receiving an advanced diploma in the Fitness and Lifestyle Management program. Through this I become certified as a personal trainer through the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology. I have had the pleasure of working with many different people but one true blessing is having the opportunity to work with youth! From developing programs, creating classes, supporting kids fitness events to working one-on-one with youth.

My name is Elaine Abramov and I am currently completing my Masters in Professional Kinesiology at the University of Toronto. Along with fitness and health being my passion, I wish to make people happy and always have a smile on their face. I love working with children, and have many years of experience creating fitness programs for children of various ages and abilities. I have worked with children with various disabilities, with the major goal of helping them reach their full potential. I hope to be able to make fitness and health fun, and instill lifelong activity in children. I want to make a difference in the life of every child I meet, and help them excel.
